Transport Clerk Admin

Best Time Limited are looking for NIGHT SHIFT TRANSPORT/WAREHOUSE ADMIN CLERK to join their busy client based in Basingstoke.

Hours of work would be 22:00 to 06:00, 5 days from 6 days, between Sunday to Friday night. IMMEDIATE START, temp to perm position for the right candidate.

Duties will involve:
*Complete accurate data capture of all delivery process inbound/outbound.
*Always promote customer care to the highest level to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
*To accurately record all customer deliveries into order system ensuring the Administration Manager is provided with accurate order volumes
*To accurately complete paperwork (handwrites) to accompany deliveries received on behalf of customers.
*To collect on a daily basis all delivery notes and sense check accuracy.
*To ensure all deliveries made have completed required security protocol
*To ensure copies of all invoices and paperwork are correctly filed enabling single point of contact clerks to respond within the agreed time scale to all customer queries
*Ensure any errors identified are dealt with swiftly and communicated to the relevant personnel
*Ensure prompt provision of information and assistance to all single point of contact clerks on a rota basis
*To ensure that effective communication is maintained at all times with the Duty FLM and all colleagues
*To ensure effective transfer of information relevant to the maintenance of an accurate and efficient Customer Service Department
*To carry out any reasonable requests as determined by management

Qualifications required:

Ideal candidate will have great customer service skills, attention to detail along with good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

Previous experience in similar role would be an advantage.
