HGV 1 Driver

Pay Rate: £17.00 - 19.00 per hour | Regular, ongoing work
Location: near Glasgow

We are currently recruiting experienced and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a well-established operation near Glasgow. This is primarily trunking work, involving the movement of trailers carrying specialist or sensitive equipment between sites, with minimal manual handling required.

The Role

  • Trunking and swapping trailers between depots
  • Transporting high-value or sensitive equipment safely and securely
  • Liaising effectively with site and transport teams
  • Completing all required paperwork accurately
  • Conducting vehicle checks and maintaining high vehicle standards
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Minimum 1 year of Class 1 experience (preferred)
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and a strong team player
