HGV Class 1 Driver – Film & TV Industry
Location: near Chertsey, Surrey
Pay: £18 per hour (Mon–Sat) | £20 - £22 per hour (Sun & Bank Holidays)

Best Time Limited is currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to support our busy clients based near Chertsey, Surrey. Our client specialises in providing serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions across the UK and Europe.
This role involves moving trailers between various production locations, supporting film and television projects. No previous experience within the film or TV industry is required, as full training will be provided.
This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work, with casual, adhoc, part-time and full-time shifts available.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport and move trailers between film and TV production locations
- Work closely with production teams and other drivers
- Ensure vehicles and trailers are handled safely and professionally
- Maintain clear communication with transport coordinators
- Follow all driver hours and road safety regulations
Essential Requirements
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence (or equivalent) with no more than 6 penalty points
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card (DQC)
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Professional and positive attitude
- Flexible availability – shifts often start in the late afternoon or evening, seven days a week
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Punctual and reliable
- Excellent communication skills
