Best Time is recruiting on behalf of a respected and forward-thinking haulage client in the Southampton and Eastleigh area. This is a great opportunity for a skilled, safety-conscious Class 2 Driver seeking flexible, ad hoc shifts with a leading logistics provider.

What We Offer:

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • CPC and Digi Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 penalty points (no DR or DD endorsements)
  • Minimum 6 months of recent Class 2 driving experience
  • Experience with rigid and curtain-sided vehicles preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional and safety-first attitude

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and secure vehicle loading
  • Perform timely and safe deliveries across the UK
  • Communicate with dispatch and customers
  • Complete paperwork and daily vehicle checks
  • Comply with driver hours, tachograph law, and SSOW
  • Maintain vehicle condition and cleanliness
  • Represent the company with professionalism on every shift
