Pay Rate: £14.50 - £16.00 per hour (PAYE)

Best Time Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a respected and forward-thinking haulage client in the Southampton and Eastleigh area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, safety-conscious Class 1 Driver seeking flexible, ad hoc shifts with a major UK logistics provider.

What We Offer:

  • £14.50 – £16.00 per hour (PAYE)
  • Flexible, ad hoc shifts to suit your schedule
  • Overtime available (when shifts extend)

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
  • CPC and Digi Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 penalty points (no DR or DD endorsements)
  • Minimum 6 months of recent Class 1 driving experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A professional and safety-first mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and secure vehicle loading
  • Complete safe, timely deliveries across the UK
  • Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain roadworthiness
  • Adhere to tachograph law and driver working time rules
  • Keep the cab clean and well-maintained
  • Represent the company with professionalism at every drop
